"If These Sheets Could Talk" they'd tell you the stories of some empowering women who worked at the Deadwood Brothel. These are their stories.
We subverted expectations by showing the audience only what they expect when they think of a brothel: drugs, sex, and alcohol. Between these expectations are the real stories of Calamity Jane and other workers at the Deadwood Brothel.
EXPERIENTIAL
To highlight more of the workers' stories, we'd place statues of real events that happened to brothel workers. The statues below depict a fistfight that broke out, after both workers fell in love with the same man.
